열린 어린이집의 특성 및 효과에 대한 인식이 실천에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 열린 어린이집의 특성, 효과 및 실천에 대한 어린이집 원장의 인식을 알아보고, 열린 어린이집의 특성과효과에 대한 인식이 실천에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구의 참여자는 서울시 노원구와 경기 북부지역에 소재하고 있는 어린이집의 원장 284명이었다. 측정 도구는 보건복지부(2015)가 제작한 ‘열린 어린이집 가이드라인’을 토대로 구성하여 사용하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 열린 어린이집의 특성, 효과 및 실천에 대한 원장의 인식은 특성에 대한 인식이 가장 높았고, 그 다음으로 실천, 효과 순으로 높게 나타났다. 어린이집설립 유형별로 차이를 살펴보면 국공립 어린이집 원장이 민간 어린이집 원장과 가정 어린이집 원장보다 열린 어린이집의 특성, 효과 및 실천에 대한 인식이 모두 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 열린 어린이집의 특성 및 효과 인식이 실천에대한 인식에 미치는 영향은 어린이집에 대한 효과 인식의 영향력이 가장 컸고, 그 다음으로 융통성 있는 부모 참여의중요성 인식, 부모에 대한 효과 인식의 순으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study inquires child-care center directors' perceptions of open child-care centers' characteristics, effects, and practices, and analyzes the influence that such perceptions of their characteristics and effects have on practices. The participants were 284 directors of child-care centers located in No-won gu, Seoul, and northern Gyeonggi-do. It was measured by the tools based on 'open child-care guidelines', made by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2015. The research results may be summarized as follows. Firstly, in terms of the perceptions of the characteristics, effects, and practices of open child-care centers, the directors' perceptions of the characteristics were highest, followed by that of practices then that of effects. Looking into different types of child-care centers, national and public child-care center directors showed higher perceptions of open child-care center's characteristics, effects, and practices than private and home based child-care center directors. Secondly, perceptions of the effects on child-care centers influenced the biggest effect on practices of open child-care centers, followed by that of parents' flexible participation then that of effects on the parents.
