아토피 피부염 아동의 부모-가족 상호작용, 아동의 자아존중감이 아동의 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 아토피 피부염 아동의 부모-가족 상호작용과 아동의 자아존중감이 아동의 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 7차 년도(2014) 자료를 활용하여 아토피 피부염 아동 175명과 각 아동의 부모를 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 아토피 피부염 아동의 주관적 행복감은 아동의 자아존중감 하위 변인인 인지적 능력, 또래 수용, 어머니 수용과 정적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 아토피 피부염 아동의 주관적 행복감에 대한 부모-가족 상호작용과 아동의 자아존중감의 상대적 영향력을 분석한 결과, 아동의 자아존중감 하위 변인 중 어머니 수용만 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 아토피 피부염 아동의 주관적 행복감을 향상하기 위해서는 인지적 능력, 또래 수용, 어머니의 수용으로 자아존중감을 향상할 수 있는 교육적인 지지와 어머니의 수용적인 태도와 관련된 부모 교육의 필요성을 시사한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of parent-family relationships and children's self-esteem on the subjective happiness of children with atopic dermatitis. For this purpose, data from the 7th year (2014) of the Korean Children Panel by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education was used, and 175 children with atopic dermatitis and their parents were selected as the study subjects. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0, with frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis conducted. The results of the analysis showed the following: First, the subjective happiness of children with atopic dermatitis was positively correlated with sub-factors of children's self-esteem, including cognitive competence, peer acceptance, and maternal acceptance. Second, when analyzing the relative influence of parent-family relationships and children's self-esteem on the subjective happiness of children with atopic dermatitis, only maternal acceptance, a sub-factor of children's self-esteem, was found to have a positive impact. These findings confirm that maternal acceptance, a sub-factor of children’s self-esteem, is the most significant factor influencing the subjective happiness of children with atopic dermatitis. Based on these results, it is suggested that to improve the subjective happiness of children with atopic dermatitis, educational support to enhance self-esteem factors such as cognitive competence, peer acceptance, and maternal acceptance, along with parental education on fostering a supportive attitude in mothers, is necessary.
