본 연구는 아토피피부염 환아의 행동문제를 파악하고 환아의 행동문제와 관련된 변수를 확인하기 위하여 시도되었다. 연구대상은 4개 종합병원을 방문한 아토피피부염을 진단받은 6세 이하의 아동을 선정하였으며 총 145명의 대상자가 참여하였다. CBCL 1.5-5 유아용 행동 평가척도와 양육 태도 측정도구를 사용하여 자료 수집하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1.대상 환아의 경제상태가 내재화(F=3.484, p< .05), 외현화 문제(F=3.219, p<.05) 모두에 유의한 특성으로 나타났다. 2. 어머니의 양육 태도 중 거부/방임 양육 태도가 내재화 행동문제(r=0.455, p<.001), 외현화 행동문제(r=0.412, p<.001) 모두에 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 3. 다중회귀분석 결과 환아의 내재화, 외현화 행동문제와 관련된 변수는 거부/방임 양육 태도(p<.001)로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 아토피피부염 환아의 행동문제와 경제 상태와 부모의 양육 태도 중 거부/방임 태도가 유의한 상관관계를 나타내 경제 상태가 낮을수록 부모가 거부/방임의 부정적인 양육태도를 가지고 있을수록 환아의 행동문제가 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로, 경제 상태가 낮은 집단의 행동문제에 관련된 예방과 중재를 강화하고, 아토피피부염 환아의 부모에게 양육태도의 중요성을 인식시키고 자녀에게 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있는 양육태도를 감소시킬 수 있도록 돕는 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with behavioral problems in children with atopic dermatitis. Methods: The participants were parents of 145 children, 18 months to 6 years old who were diagnosed with atopic dermatitis. The instruments used were; a self-reported questionnaire on Child Behavior Checklist for Ages 1.5~5 (CBCL 15.5~5), Childrearing Behavior Questionnaire. Descriptive, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analyses were used to analyze the data. Results: There was no statistically significant relationship with behavioral problems for gender, age, mother's age, mother's education level, family structure, duration of illness, or severity. There were significant differences in internalizing (F=3.484, p<.05) and externalizing problems (F=3.219, p<.05) according to economic status. In bivariate analysis rejection- nonintervention parenting practice was significantly related to internalizing (r=0.455, p<.001) and externalizing problems (r=0.412, p<.001). However, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that only rejection-nonintervention parenting practice was significantly associated with internalizing problems (β=0.421, p<.001) and externalizing problems (β=0.376, p<.001). Conclusion: Children with atopic dermatitis who reported higher rejection-nonintervention parenting practice showed higher internalizing and externalizing problems more. Development of preventive and intervention programs with the goal of improving parenting skills may help to prevent and reduce behavioral problems of children with atopic dermatitis.
