이 연구에서는 특수교육교사를 대상으로 지체장애학교 교사의 교직수행능력 요인에 대한 중요도와 실행도 수준 및 두 변인간의 차이를 알아보았다. 첫째, 지체장애학교 교사는 일상생활 기술 및 자세유지와 이동에 필요한 지식과 기술을 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지체장애학교 교사는 일상생활기술 및 자세유지와 이동에 필요한 지식과 기술이 실행 수준이 가장 높고, 지체장애 관련 단체 및 출판물에 대한 지식이 실행 수준이 가장 낮다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교직수행능력 요인에 대한 중요도와 실행도를 비교한 결과, 보완대체의사소통 지도 방법이 가장 차이가 큰 것으로, 지체장애 관련 단체 및 출판물에 대한 지식이 가장 차이가 작은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 특수교육교원 양성대학의 교육과정 개발뿐 아니라 지체장애학교 교사 재교육 교육과정을 구안하는 데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the relationship between the importance and performance of teachers’ competencies in physical disability special school. In order to accomplish the purpose of the study, we developed a questionnaire on the teachers' competencies of teaching physical disabilities and conducted a questionnaire survey of 99 special teachers who worked in special schools for students with physical disabilities. First, level of recognition of importance was highly evaluated in the order of daily life skills and knowledge and skills for mail posture. Second, daily life skills and knowledge and skills for mail posture were ranking highest, relevant groups and publishing companies of physical disability were ranking lowest. As a result of analyzing the difference between the degree of importance and performance of teaching competencies of the physical disability school teachers, there was a big difference in augmentative and alternative communication. The result of this study is expected to be used as a basic data for teacher training course and retraining process of physical disability school.
