본 연구는 언어기반 읽기중재가 경계선 지적기능 아동의 읽기능력인 읽기정확성, 읽기유창성, 읽기이해에 효과가 있는지 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 대상은 초등학교 경계선 지적기능 아동 3명으로 대상자간 중다 간헐 기초선 설계를 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 언어기반 읽기중재가 연구 대상의 읽기정확성, 읽기유창성, 읽기이해를 향상시키는데 효과가 있었고, 효과크기 또한 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구 결과를 토대로 논의 및 제언을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether language based reading intervention is effective in enhancing reading accuracy, reading fluency and reading comprehension of borderline intellectual functioning children. For this purpose, three borderline intellectual functioning children were selected. The multiple probe baseline across participants design was applied to them, and the baseline of 3～5 sessions, the intervention of 10～16 sessions and the maintenance of 3 sessions were carried out. The collected data were analyzed by visual analysis and PND. As a result, language based reading intervention was effective in enhancing reading accuracy, reading fluency and reading comprehension of borderline intellectual functioning children. Therefore, based on the results of this study, implications are suggested.
