상호적 또래교수가 정신지체 학생의 인라인스케이트 기술 습득과 수업일탈 행동에 미치는 효과
The Effects of Reciprocal Peer Tutoring on Skill Learning and Off-Task Behaviors of Inline Skating for Students with Mental Retardation

본 연구의 목적은 정신지체 학생들 간의 상호적 또래교수가 정신지체 학생들의 인라인스케이트 기술 습득과 수업일탈 행동에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 있다. 연구대상자는 경기도 소재 특수학급 정신지체 고등학생 16명이었고, 대상자들은 운동능력 사전검사 결과를 근거로 또래교수를 제공할 실험집단과 통제집단에 8명씩 배정되어 방과 후 인라인스케이트 활동에 참여하였다. 집단 간 인라인스케이트 기술 습득 점수와 수업일탈 행동의 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였으며, 집단 간 기술 습득과 수업일탈 행동에 대한 차이를 검증하기 위하여 반복측정에 의한 이원변량분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정신지체 학생들의 인라인스케이트 기술 습득의 경우 또래교수를 실시한 실험집단과 통제집단 간에는 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 기술(기본기술, 정지기술, 코너기술) 간에도 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정신지체 학생들의 인라인스케이트 수업일탈 행동의 경우 또래교수를 실시한 실험집단과 통제집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 측정시기(초기, 중기, 후기)의 경우 초기와 중기에는 유의미한 차이가 없으며 중기와 후기, 전기와 후기에는 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 인라인스케이트 학습에 경도 정신지체학생들의 또래교수가 인라인스케이트 기술 습득에는 전통적인 교사주도의 교수에 의한 학습 만큼의 성취도를 보이지만 수업일탈 행동에 향상에는 교사주도의 교수 전략보다 효과적인 전략임을 입증하였다는데 그 의의가 있다. 결과와 선행문헌을 중심으로 본 연구 결과의 함의와 제언을 심도 있게 논하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of peer tutoring on learning inline skate skills and off-task behaviors during inline skating lessons for students with mental retardation. 16 students with mild mental retardation in special classes, were evenly assigned into two different groups, a peer tutoring group and a teacher leading group. Each group has assigned for 12 inline skating learning sessions, twice a week for 6 weeks. The results were as follows. First, there was a no significant difference in learning inline skate skill between traditional teacher leading group and peer tutoring group. Second, there was a significant difference in off-task behaviors between two groups. With in-dept discussion referring literature reviews and the results, it is concluded that peer tutoring was effective as equivalent as teacher leading class on learning inline skate skill, and it made an influence to reduce the off-task behavior. Further implications and suggestions for future research have been discussed.
