제4차 산업혁명 시대에 대비한 초등교사 양성기관 교육과정의 미래 －○○교대의 교육과정을 사례로－

본 연구는 초등교사 양성기관의 교육과정이 제4차 산업혁명의 시대와 미래의 사회에 대비하여 나아가야 할 방향과 거기에 수반되는 과제를 ○○교대의 교육과정에 초점을 두고 탐색하는 일에 목적을 두고 있다. ○○교대의 교육과정은 이미 도래한 미래에 대비하여 교육과정의 개정을 일단락지었지만, 그것은 초등교사 양성교육이 구현해야 할 키워드로 손꼽히는 ‘기본’이나 ‘연결’ 혹은 ‘다양성’을 적절하게 반영하지 못하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 장기적인 안목에서 처리하고 관리해야 할 여러 가지 과제를 안겨주고 있다. 교양과정의 영역과 거기에서 이수할 과목의 일관성을 도모하는 일, 필요에 이끌려 과목을 개설하는 잡동사니의 오류와 완전무결한 교사를 양성하여 배출해야 한다는 기술공학적 몽상을 교양과정과 전문과정에서 추방하는 일, 교직과정과 전공과정에 일관되게 교육실습을 이론의 확인과 이해의 차원에서 조망하는 가운데 초등교사 양성교육의 위상을 정립하는 일은 그 과제의 대표적인 사례로 받아들일 수 있다. 그렇기는 해도 그것은 ○○교대의 교육과정에 국한되는 배타적인 과제가 아니다. 그것은 미래가 초등교사 양성기관에 공통으로 부과하는 과제이며, 그런 만큼 서로의 교육과정을 돌아보면서 그것에 관한 시각을 공유하고 장차의 방향을 모색하는 일은 13개의 기관이 짊어져야 할 근본적인 과제라고 말할 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to seek the future of the curriculum for university to train elementary school teacher in preparation for the 4th industrial revolution focused on the curriculum of ○○ National University of Education. The curriculum of the University was revised in preparation for the future era that has already begun in the last year. However, it did not properly reflect the fundamental keywords that teacher training education for elementary school should pursue in the future: basics, connectivity, and diversity. It has even given us a number of challenges to deal with and manage from a long-term perspective: promoting the consistency of the area of liberal arts course and the subjects to be studied in it, removing the omnibus fallacy in which subject is attracted by necessity and the technological reverie that points to the ideal of training a perfect teacher in curriculum development, and establishing the status of teacher training education by looking at educational practice in terms of confirmation and understanding of theory. Nevertheless, these are not exclusive to the curriculum of the University. These are fundamental topics that the 4th industrial revolution era and the future society asks for in common to institutions for training elementary school teacher, so it is a task of the institutions at hand to share perspectives on the topics and to seek the directions of the curriculum referring to the other curricular.
