전남 곡성군 장흥마씨 출토여복에 관한 연구

Abstract

Although there were many costumes that were excavated in the tombs in Jeonnam Gwangju, only the clothings were excavated which were unable to define the state of shroud. The relics that were seen at the beginning made it available to collect a complete form of costumes making it able to define how the dressing of the corpse was like. The clothing that were used in shrouds has 15 different types of clothing including three trousers, one skirt, four Korean jacket, 5 jangui (including two which can not be defined but appears to be jangui), Korean socks, one shoes, and also big bed clothes and small bed clothes. The unique things were Mokpan git, straight barae which were early Chosun type of clothing, opened and unopened pants, and skirts that were folded inside. The Jangui has five clothes and all the outer layers were double subed and all the inside layers were single subed which is a typical characteristic of a jangui. The korean jacket had 4 clothings in total and the Sosaekmyumyung korean jacket seemed to be Juksam and the length was short about 50cm compared to other clothings and there were no existence of Me and side Mu. It was used for casual clothing or shroud so the costumes were used without coat string and callar strips.
