Abstract
As The Fourth Industrial Revolution has begun, there has been a great attention in how it would impact to jobs of the future, brought by the rapid development of science and technology. Particularly, this new technology, such as artificial intelligence, big data, robots, drones, 5G, IoT, is collapsing job boundaries between what should belong to man, and computer. In the past, jobs considered to be human-only-capable, now they has become computer-also-capable, it leads to the great attention in future human jobs. In this study, we propose a scientific prediction methodology to predict future jobs that can be substituted by computers in future. With this model, we estimated and evaluated highly substitutable jobs by computer. As a result, 43% of all workers in Korea are considered as having highly substitutable occupations which are likely to be replaced by computers within the next 10~20 years.
