Despite the overall increase in students’ educational level, the college graduates’ employment rate has decreased. Unlike other fields of education, the fields of culinary and baking in community colleges require students to engage in practical experience. Management undergraduate is the key of the maintenance of community colleges because of the decrement of the entrance resources. In these circumstances, it is meaningful that we inquire the correlation between major selection motivation and practical class attitude through an empirical analysis. The results of this study were as follows; first, we set the theoretical foundations and drew the composition of individual motive and social motive by the conceptual approach. Second, major selection motivation affected practical class attitude partly through multiple regression analysis. Individual motive was affected preparation attitude, practice attitude and review attitude. Social motive affected review attitude only.
