대학과 지역사회의 연계를 통한 무용 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 - 충남대학교 사례를 중심으로

오늘날 무용예술은 수도권 중심으로 이루어지는 풍토, 전국적으로 무용학과 축소로 인해 지역의 무용예술의 활성화를 위한 발판의 폭이 점차 좁아진 것 뿐 아니라, 현 상황을 유지하는 것조차도 어려워지는 문제에 직면해 있다. 본 연구는 지역사회의 무용 활성화를 위해서 현재 진행되고 있는 지역 대학을 중심으로 변화되어온 전국대학과 지역대학의 무용(학)과 현황 살펴보고, 대전지역의 국립대학인 충남대학교 무용(학)과의 운영사례를 통하여 지역무용 활성화 방안을 제시하는 것에 목적이 있다. 지역(방)대학의 무용학과의 활성화는 궁극적으로 지역문화발전과 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 이러한 상호관계는 지역 무용학과 전공인 들의 취업률과 직접적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 이 논문의 핵심은 대학과 지역사회의 교류·협력을 지속적으로 추진함으로써, 대학 자체의 성장뿐만 아니라 문화예술의 발전을 이룰 수 있는 발판을 마련한다는 것이다.
Abstract
Nowadays, art of dance is facing serious problems. The facts that it is mainly performed in Seoul and Gyeonggi and the foothold in regional communities is shrinking, which is caused by overall downsizing of dancing schools are problems to be overcome. This study examines currently progressing overall efforts of both national and regional university dance departments to vitalize dancing in regional community. In addition, this paper discusses the ways to vitalize dance in regional communities through the case study of the administration of the Department of Dance at Chungnam National University. The vitalization of department of dance in regional universities is closely related to cultural development in the region and affect directly the employment rate of dance majors in this region. The main point of this paper is to provide the foundation for not only the development of the university itself but also the enhancement of cultural arts in the region through continuous exchanges and cooperation between universities and the regional community.
