Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of applying Korean dance-Yoga combined exercise to postmenopausal obese middle-aged women on Myokine. Participants are 17 obese middle-aged women with 30 %fat whose menopause was over a year ago. They were divided into Korean dance-Yoga combined exercise group with 9 and Control group with 8. As a result, Weight and %fat significantly increased in Combined exercise group after exercise, but there was no significant change in Control group. IL-6 and IL-1 of Myokine did’t show significant change, but BDNF and VEGF showed significant difference between two groups with a significant increase in Combined exercise group after exercise. There was no significant change in Control group in every variable. Therefore, it is considerd that Korean dance-Yoga combined exercise will be an effective program for decreasing body fat, developing cognitive function and blood vessel health.
