영화<아멜리에>의 복식에 나타난 색채 이미지에 관한 연구

Abstract

The progress of the movies largely depends on images, the harmony of colors that is the most visual effect in the movies can not be ignored and color is the crucial factor supporting the visual side of movie costumes and symbolic function. The color is the crucial factor to express the message to convey. Through the specific color, the movie makes audiences remind the specific object or words acquired from their experiences and induce atmosphere more familiar and make audiences concentrate on that of the movies and may convey symbolic meaninge. In this research, stydy the color image and symbolism conveyed on the movie based on the analysis for movie costumes the visual media and color images and analyze the symbolic meaning of colors conveyed on the costumes of characters of <Amelie Of Montmartre>. The movie <Amelie Of Montmartre> uses green and red color as main color over the movie and as time goes by the movie shows the conditional and psychological changes of characters by using gray, orange and white colors. That is, through the association of color and symbolic meaning of green and rad, gray, orange and white color, present overall atmosphere and subject of the movie. Like this, the colors holding sway of the atmosphere of a movie, as the most distinct method inducing the overall flow of a movie, can raise the completion level by drawing the symbolism the colors convey. And I expect that the research for the movie costumes expressed by using various colors may be continued to recognize the importance of color on which the symbolic effect act is growing in our time.
