영화「 탱고」의 배경과 의상에서 표현된 색채 분석을 통한 탱고의 이미지에 관한 연구

탱고는 아르헨티나의 대표적인 민속춤이자 그 나라의 민족적 정서를 대변하는 상징적 의미로 사용되며, 예술적감성으로 인해 전 세계적으로 급속히 퍼져나가는 문화 코드이다. 탱고의 보편적인 감성과 형식에 얽매이지 않는즉흥성은 자유로움을 추구하는 현대인들의 취향에 부합하며 슬픔과 그리움의 정서는 복잡한 사회 속에서 소외되어 가는 사람들에게 공감을 일으키기에 적당하다. 또한 춤이 가지는 관능적이고 유혹적인 특성은 화려한 의상과더불어 시각적인 만족감을 주며 산업 분야에 활용할 수 있는 조건을 충분히 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 탱고를 문화적 콘텐츠로 좀 더 적극적으로 활용하고 나아가 산업 분야에서의 가치를 다각적으로 활용하고자 탱고가 가지는고유한 이미지를 분석하는 것에 대한 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 색채 이미지 분석은 대상이 가지고 있는 이미지를구체화하고 실현시키는데 있어 다른 연구 방법보다 명확하게 접근할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 색채 이미지의 활용도가 높은 영화를 대상으로 탱고가 가지고 있는 특성과 이미지를 분석하였다. 현대 사회에서는 점차 모든 분야에서 이성을 최고의 가치로 여기던 분위기에서 벗어나 감성을 자극하여 관심과 호응을 얻는것을 중요시하는 경향으로 바뀌고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 세계적으로 공통된 정서로 인정받은 탱고의 이미지를분석하여 그것이 대표하는 색채와 상징적 의미를 유추해 봄으로써 향후 문화와 산업 분야에서 탱고와 관련된 패션 상품을 개발하는데 도움을 줄 것이라 기대된다.
Abstract
Tango is the representative folk dance of Argentina with the symbolic meaning representing theethnic emotion of Argentina as well as the cultural code rapidly expanding throughout the worlddue to the artistic emotion. Improvisation of Tango which isn’t bound by general emotions andforms matches the taste of people in these days pursuing freedom. Sorrow and longing in Tangoare ideal for arousing the sympathy of those who are neglected in the complicated society. Furthermore, the sensual and seductive feature of Tango give the visual satisfaction with theflamboyant costumes and satisfy the requirements to be utilized in the industries. Accordingly,I felt the necessity to analyze the unique image of Tango for utilizing Tango as the culturalcontents in more progressive ways and using its value in more diversified ways in the industries. The analysis on the images of colors enables more precise approach to materialize and realizethe images of the objects than other methodologies. Thus, this paper analyzed the features andimages of Tango in the movies with the high applicability of color images. The modern societyhas been putting more emphasis on inducing interest and response by stimulating emotionsbeyond the general circumstance considering rationality as the best value in all fields in thesociety. Therefore, this paper tried to identify the colors representing the images of Tango andthe symbolic meaning by analyzing the images of Tango which were recognized as the generalemotion in the world. The analysis results will help to develop fashion goods related to Tango incultural and industrial fields in the future.
