문법성 판단 시험
A Review of Grammaticality Judgment Tests

제2 언어 학습자의 언어 능력(competence)을 측정하는 도구로 문법성 판단 시험이 언어습득이론 (SLA) 연구에서 자주 사용되어 왔다. 문법성 판단 시험을 시행하는 데 있어 방법론상의 가설은 학습자들이 제2 언어의 문법성을 판단할 때 명시적 지식보다는 내재적 지식을 사용할 것이라는 것이다. 연구자의 의도에 따라 여러 가지 형식의 문법성 판단시험이 사용되고 있으나 대체로 문법적인 문장과 비문법적인 문장을 동시에 제시하고 학습자가 문법성을 판단하게 하는 것이 가장 일반적인 형식이다. 본 논문은 문법성 판단 시험에 대한 문헌 조사를 통하여 여러 형식의 문법성 판단 시험을 비교하여 논하고, 지금까지 당연시 되어 왔던 문법성 판단 시험의 타당도와 신뢰도에 대한 문제를 제기한다.
