교회의 삶과 사명에서의 ‘공동합의성’(synodalitas)과 ‘신앙 감각’(sensus fidei)의 상관성에 대한 연구

Abstract

The synodality in “Synodality in the Life and Mission of the Church” which was released by Pontifical International Theology Commission (2018) indicates “the unique character of the Church, God’s people, life style and acting way led by Holy Spirit”, and “all of God’s people are related and participate to the Church’s life and mission”. Synodality is the practical reflection of ‘Ecclesiology of communion’, which was presented at the 2nd Vatican Council, and also it is the developmental vision of the 21st Catholic Church’s direction. Fellowship and communion are the component principles of the Early Church, and they are also the principles of inducing the consensus of God’s people and koinonia. After the 2nd Vatican Council, it is emphasized that all of God’s people who respond to Triune God’s calling to participate jointly to prophet ministry through “supernatural sensus fidei led and preserved by the Spirit of Truth”(Church Constitution 12), over the limitation of the Church’s system which was focused on priesthood. Hereby, the transforming opportunity to serve each other has made that the Church which was ‘teaching Church’ centering on priest changed to ‘learning and fellowship Church’ where priests and lay people together. Anthropological base forming “Synodality in the Life and Mission of the Church”is John Henry Newman’s ‘consent theory’ that can accommodate the conclusion which was achieved based on inference sense. ‘Sensus fidei’ and ‘connaturalitas’ can be pointed out as to the Church theory of reaching consensus. God's people should achieve spiritual conversion and renewal through ‘sensus fidei fidelium’ which was led by the Spirit of Truth. And practicing ‘Sentire cum Ecclesiae’ through the various expressions of sensus fidelium is needed. Simultaneously, solidarity and cooperation through connaturalitas and empathy, which are the foundation of dialogue and communication, are the theological principles making consent of cooperation in the Life and Mission of the Church. To be ‘The Church of synodalitas’ the status of all of God’s people with sensus fidei should be reestablished. And continuous study on the basic theology principal about the synodalitas through dialogue and listening, which are the 21st Catholic Church pursue, should be made.
