본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 유아의 자기조절 관계에서 어머니의 일-가정 양립과 양육효능감 순차매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 3세〜5세 자녀를 양육하고 취업 중인 어머니 335명에게 온라인으로 설문지를 배부하고 수거하여 최종적으로 310명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 어머니의 심리적 안녕감, 일-가정 양립 및 양육효능감은 유아의 자기조절과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 유아의 자기조절 관계에서 어머니의 일-가정 양립과 양육효능감의 순차매개효과는 유의미하며 어머니의 일-가정 양립과 양육효능감은 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 유아의 자기조절 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유아의 자기조절 증진을 위해서는 어머니의 심리적 요인에 대한 고려가 필요하며, 일-가정 양립 균형을 위한 사회적 분위기 및 제도 지원, 양육효능감 증진을 위한 지원이 요구됨을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the sequential mediation effects of work-family balance and parenting self-efficacy of mothers with young children on the relationship between the mother’s psychological well-being and child’s self-regulation. Online questionnaires were distributed to 335 mothers who were raising children aged 3 to 5 and were employed, and data from 310 people were included in the analysis. The results revealed that the mother’s psychological well-being, work-family balance, and parenting efficacy were correlated with children’s self-regulation. The relationship between the mother’s psychological well-being and the children’s self-regulation and the sequential mediating effect of the mother's work-family balance and parenting efficacy was significant. In the relationship between the mother’s psychological well-being and the infant’s self-regulation, work-family balance and parenting efficacy exerted a complete mediating effect.
