Abstract
Most researches on Korean diaspora were mainly focused on overseas Korean communities and their settlement processes. This paper is more geared towards the newly emerging researches on the knowledge diaspora network, which developed in line with development programs of international organizations. Using the recent issue of World Social Science Report from UNESCO (2010) as a basic comparative framework, this paper examines the current status of Korean knowledge diaspora from the viewpoint of brain circulation in order to find a better way to tap the potentials of overseas Koreans.
