주 양육자의 정서사회화프로그램 개발과 효과: 청소년 자녀를 둔 모(母)를 대상으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 주 양육자의 정서사회화프로그램을 개발하여 청소년 자녀를 둔 모의 정서인식의 명확성, 모와 자녀의 의사소통 능력, 양육효능감에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 K시에 거주하고 있는 청소년 자녀를 두고 있는 어머니 22명을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누어, 본 연구 프로그램을 120분씩, 주 2회, 총 8회 실시했다. 본 연구는 정서인식의 명확성, 의사소통 능력(부모용, 자녀용), 양육효능감 척도를 이용하여 사전검사, 사후검사, 추후검사로 실시했고, 피험자 간 변인과 피험자 내 변인이 혼합된 분할구획요인설계를 사용해 가설을 검정했다. 연구결과, 첫째, 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단의 정서인식의 명확성, 어머니의 모-자녀 의사소통 능력은 통제집단에 비해 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 프로그램의 참여한 실험집단에 전체 양육효능감은 통제집단에 비해 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 하위요소 중 학습지도, 훈육능력은 유의미한 변화가 없었다. 셋째, 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단의 청소년 자녀는 통제집단의 자녀에 비해 모-자녀 의사소통 능력에서 유의미한 효과가 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 의의와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의했다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an emotional socialization program and to cofirm its effect on clarity of emotional recognition, parenting efficacy and parent-adolescent communication of mothers with adolescent children. To this end, 22 mothers with adolescent children living in K city were divided into experimental and control groups, and the program was conducted twice a week, 120 minutes, 8 sessions. Using the Emotional Clarity Scale, Parent-Adolescent Communication Scale (for parents and children) and Parenting Efficacy Scale, pre-test, post-test, follow-up test were administered. Split-Plot Factorial Design was used to test the study hypothesis. The results are as follows; first, it was found that the clarity of emotional recognition, parent-adolescent communication ability of the experimental group had a significant effect compared to the control group. Second, it was found that the overall parenting efficacy of the experimental group had a significant effect compared to the control group. However, among the sub-elements, there was no significant change in learning guidance and discipline ability. Third, the adolescent children of the experimental group had a significant effect on parent-adolescent communication ability compared to the children of the control group. Finally, we discussed the significance and limitations of this study and presented suggestions for further research.
