연구배경 세계의 도시화가 심화되고 도시에서의 생활 환경 가치에 대한 중요성이 부각되면서‘문화도시’,‘어메니티’,‘디자인 도시’등과 같은 개념들을 쉽게 접하게 되었다. 이에 따라 디자인 교육을 통해 도시의 문화적 환경을 개선하고 미래의 삶의 질 향상의 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구가 더욱 중요해진 것이다. 본 연구의 목적 또한 도시의 문화적 환경 개선을 위한 훌륭한 디자인 인재 확보의 미래 디자인 교육의 방향을 탐색함에 있다. 연구방법 본 연구를 위해서 미래의 변화와 이에 대한 준비에 대한 내용과 그 외 미래 사회에 대한 다양한 연구들을 토대로 하였다. 도시와 문화 환경에 대해서는 도시의 문화적 정체성과 미래의 이상적 문화 도시의 어메니티 측면을 연구하고 이를 통하여 미래 디자인 교육의 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구결과 디자인 교육은 지식과 정보의 공유와 참여, 체계적인 관리 등을 토대로 한 통합적 사고의 프로젝트의 실행이 요구되고, 이 과정 중에 또 다른 교육 프로그램의 창조가 가능해지게 된다. 또한 이 모든 것들은 타 지역, 타 국가, 타 문화와의 상호 교류에 따른 글로벌 시대 지속가능한 미래 사회를 위한 디자인 교육으로 이루어져야 한다는 것이다. 결론 디자인 교육은 문화적 정체성의 가치, 사람을 둘러싼 공간의 가치, 사람 관계의 가치, 공감의 가치, 공동체의 공공의 가치, 함께하는 공유의 가치, 지속가능한 환경의 가치, 문화적 놀이와 유희의 가치, 안전한 공간에서의 삶의 가치 등에 대한 인식을 토대로 이루어져야 한다.
Abstract
Background As urbanization advances around the world, the importance of living environment grows and the concept of such as‘cultural city’,‘amenity’,‘urban design’ become increasingly common. Continued research and education are needed to find how to effectively collect and process information and knowledge to generate new knowledge and make them valuable in people’s living. In this context, this study aims to explore the future direction of design education to attract and train talented future designers of the urban cultural environment. Method For this purpose, we referred to the research on changes of future society and preparations, and various other researches on future society. As for a city's cultural environment, we examined urban cultural identity and the aspect of amenity for ideal cultural cities of future through which was to explore the future direction of design education. Result Design education needs to be convergent based on sharing, participation and systematic management of knowledge and information to enable integrated implementation of project, and during this process, ideas for other educational programs can be hatched. Design education should be done in a way that promotes sustainable society of future in the era of globalization based on exchanges among different regions, countries and cultures. Conclusion In conclusion, design education needs to be recognize the value of cultural identity, the value of the space surrounding the person, the value of human relationships, the value of empathy, the value of the community public, value together share, the value of sustainable environmental, cultural, play and the value of play, the value of life in a safe place.
