인공지능 기술의 급격한 발전은 사회의 변화뿐만 아니라 교육에서의 변화를 빠르게 이끌고 있으며, 인공지능의 교육적 활용은 개별 학습자들의 요구를 충족시켜 맞춤형 학습을 가능케 한다. 인공지능을 활용한 디지털 스토리텔링 수업에서는 교육과정에 제시된 내용을 학생의 요구와 경험을 바탕으로 재구성함으로써 학생 주도의 스토리텔링 수업이 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 인공지능을 활용한 디지털스토리텔링 수업이 지적장애 학생의 의사소통의도와 화용적 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향을 탐구하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 13차시의 인공지능을 활용한 디지털스토리텔링 수업을 설계하고 특수학교에 재학중인 지적장애 고등학생을 대상으로 적용하였다. 연구 결과 인공지능을 활용한 디지털스토리텔링 수업이 지적장애 학생들의 의사소통의도의 산출 빈도를 높이고 화용적 의사소통능력 향상에 긍정적인 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology is rapidly leading not only changes in society but also in education, and the educational use of artificial intelligence meets the needs of individual learners, enabling customized learning. In digital storytelling classes using artificial intelligence, student-led storytelling classes are conducted by reconstructing the contents presented in the curriculum based on the needs and experiences of students. This study attempted to explore the effect of digital storytelling classes using artificial intelligence on the communication intentions and pragmatic communication skills of students with intellectual disabilities. To this end, the 13th digital storytelling class using artificial intelligence was designed and applied to high school students with intellectual disabilities attending special schools. As a result of the study, it was found that digital storytelling classes using artificial intelligence have a positive effect on increasing the frequency of calculating communication intentions of students with intellectual disabilities and improving pragmatic communication skills.
