4차 산업혁명 사회에서 인간은 인공지능과 긴밀한 관계를 맺으며 살고 있다. 급격한 사회의 변화에 맞추어 교육계에서도 인공지능에 대한 관심이 높아지는 가운데, 특히 챗봇은 즉문즉답이라는 큰 장점을 바탕으로 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 사회과 수업에서도 AI 시대에 맞게 창의 융복합적 사고력, 소통 능력, 비판적 사고력 등의 미래핵심 역량을 강화해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등 사회과 수업에서 AI 챗봇이 효율적인 학습 도구로 활용될 수 있다고 보고, 학생들이 주제를 정하여 챗봇을 만들어 보도록 하였다. 연구 결과, AI 챗봇 활용 교육 프로그램은 학생들의 학습 만족도를 향상시켰고, 학생들은 새로운 학습 경험을 얻으며 AI 활용 교육에 대한 관심과 참여도가 증가하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 AI 챗봇 활용 교육 프로그램을 통해 초등학교 학생들은 사회과 수업에 대해 관심이 높아지고, 흥미를 느껴 교육에 효과적으로 활용되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
In the 4th industrial revolution society, humans live in close relationship with artificial intelligence. In line with the rapid social change, interest in artificial intelligence is increasing in the educational world. In particular, chatbots are being actively researched based on the great advantage of immediate question and answer. In social studies classes, it is necessary to strengthen future core competencies such as creative convergence thinking skills, communication skills, and critical thinking skills in line with the AI era.In this study, we saw that AI chatbots could be used as efficient learning tools in elementary social studies classes, and students decided on a topic to create and service chatbots. As a result of the study, the AI chatbot-based education program improved students' satisfaction with learning, and students gained new learning experiences and increased their interest in and participation in AI-based education. Through the AI chatbot utilization education program developed in this study, elementary school students are expected to be effectively used in education because they are interested and interested in social studies classes.
