이 연구는 자녀의 자존감 형성과 부모의 양육 태도 관계를 고찰하는 목적이 있다. 오늘 우리 사회환경은 청소년들에게 자존감을 제공하지 못하고 있다. 치열한 입시경쟁과 미래에 대한 불확실한 사회적 현실은 자녀들의 자신감을 잃어버리게 한다. 이러한 현실들이 기독교 청소년들에게도 자기의 가치와 능력을 올바로 인식하지 못하게 한다. 그리고 자신의 이상과 현실의 사이에서 고민하며 자신감을 갖지 못한다. 자존감은 자기 자신에 대한 긍정적인 마음이나 내적인 신념이라고 할 수 있다. 자존감이 높은 사람은 나는 사랑받고 있다. 나는 참으로 가치 있는 사람이라는 마음을 갖는다. 그러나 낮은 자존감은, 현실에서 매사에 두려움과 고통을 갖게 된다. 그리고 자기 스스로 가치 없는 존재로 여기고, 타인을 의식하게 된다. 그러므로 자녀들의 긍정적 변화와 자존감 회복은 기독교 신앙교육을 통해서 이루어져야 한다. 자존감을 높이는 요인으로는 신앙적으로 하나님이 주신 비전과 긍정적인 자아상 확립에 있다. 그리고 책임감, 배려와 이타적 돌봄, 그리고 용서와 화해를 실천할 때 높은 자존감을 형성할 수 있게 한다. 따라서 부모는 자존감 회복을 위한 가정에서 기독교 신앙 교육과정과 내용을 제공해야 한다. 이 연구의 목적에 따라서 먼저 자존감에 대하여 살펴볼 것이다. 다음은 자녀의 자존감 형성과 부모의 양육 태도에 대하여 논하게 될 것이다. 그런 다음 자녀의 자존감을 높이는 부모의 양육 태도들을 고찰할 것이다. 끝으로 부모의 신앙교육이 자녀의 자존감과 자기 효능감을 긍정적으로 변화시키고, 자존감 회복과 어떤 관계가 있으며, 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 제시할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the building of self-esteem in children and the parenting attitude of parents. Today's social environment is not providing youth with self-esteem. The fierce competition for entrance exams and uncertain social realities about the future lead to children losing their confidence. These realities prevent even Christian youths from properly recognizing their values and abilities. And children don't have confidence between their ideals and their reality. Self-esteem can be said to be a positive mind or inner belief in oneself. I am loved by people with high self-esteem. I think I am a truly a valuable person. But low self-esteem leads to fear and pain in everything in reality. And they think that they are worthless and become conscious of others. Therefore, positive change of children and restoration of self-esteem must be achieved through Christian faith education. The factors that increase self-esteem are in the establishment of a vision and a positive self-image that God has given in faith. And when we practice responsibility, caring and altruistic care, and forgiveness and reconciliation, we can build high self-esteem. Therefore, parents must provide curriculum and content of Christian faith in the home to restore self-esteem. According to the purpose of this study, we will first look at self-esteem. Next, we will discuss building children's self-esteem and parenting attitudes of parents. Then we will consider parenting attitudes of parents that increase their children's self-esteem. Finally, we will present how parents' faith education positively changes their child's self-esteem and self-efficacy, and how it has a relationship with self-esteem recovery and how it affects them.
