유아교사의 자아개념과 인성개발 효능감의 관계

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 인성개발에 영향을 미치는 교사의 자아개념과 인성개발 효능감과의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 바람직한 유아의 인성발달을 도모하기 위한 교사교육의 방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 경기지역 유아교사 182명으로, 설문지조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 유아교사의 자아개념과 인성개발 효능감은 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 자아개념의 하위요인 중에서는 자기수용이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 자아개념은 인성개발 효능감과 의미 있는 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자아개념 중 일상적 자아와 자기수용이 특히 일반적 인성개발 효능감과 개인적 인성개발 효능감 모두에서 상관이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 교사의 인성개발 효능감을 향상시키기 위해서는 교사의 자아개념 증진을 도모하는 교사교육의 시행이 필요함을 시사한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between kindergarten teachers’ self-concept and the character development efficacy. The data were collected by questionnaire for 182 kindergarten teachers in Gyeonggi province. The results were as follows: First, kindergarten teachers generally have high self-concept and character development efficacy. Self acceptance is high score in the subordinate of self-concept. Second, self-concept is closely related to the character development efficacy. Especially daily self and self acceptance above the other subordinate scales of self-concept are related to general character development efficacy and individual efficacy.
