圃隱 鄭夢周 詩의 楚辭 수용 一考

Abstract

This paper primarily considers The Odes of Chu’s ‘Fragrant Grass and Beauty Images(香草美人)’ that a metaphorical expression or an imagery of a king by fragrant grass or beauty, as well as the acceptability of Qu Yuan’ personality by relating Po-Eun Jeong Mong-ju’s poetic literature with Qu Yuan’s The Odes of Chu. Firstly, Po-Eun accepted wholeheartedly the “Fragrant Grass and Beauty” images from The Odes of Chu and expanded the categories of poetry’s theme. In Po-Eun’s poetry, beauty(美人) refers to a beautiful woman(美女), king, as well as even a friend whom expressed as longing for. Therefore, it’s represented as a beautiful woman(美女), a jade figure(玉人), arched eyebrows(蛾眉) etc., And mainly used the heterosexual mutual affection to express the emotion of pining for king and longing for friend . Secondly, Po-Eun ranked himself with awaken Qu Yuan and this can be demonstrated as he sympathized with Qu Yuan’s personality that is clean alone(獨醒) and awake alone(獨醒) . In addition, Po-Eun accepted the poetic diction from The Odes Chu such as ‘clean my foot(濯吾足)’, ‘riverside(澤畔)’ and ‘very fragrant smelling(芳菲菲)’ and used as key poetic diction in the relevant literary work. During the consideration of the causal relationship that Po-Eun could accommodate the Odes Chu, it could be seen that it is due to both background conditions and careers are similar, especially, the more significant effectiveness of mental factors that highly uniformed by the personality of spotless integrity and loyalty. In this way, Po-Eun revealed his political integrity(大節) by accepting Qu Yuan’s innocent personality, as well as, disclosed the double psychology between government position equivalent and retirement conflict that although he expressed the reality-oriented intention by accommodated ‘pining for king(戀君)’ emotion and meanwhile, displayed interest in Tao Yuan-ming’s ‘living in poverty but in pure hearted(守拙)’.
