이 논문은 크게 두 가지 주제로 구성되어 있다. 전반부는 『열하일기』 교감 정본화 과정에서 발견 발생하는 중요한 문제를 다루었고, 후반부는 『열하일기』의 새로운 필사본 자료를 소개하는 내용으로 되어 있다. 필자는 연암 박지원의 저작집인 『연암집』의 정본화 작업에서, 『열하일기』부분을 맡아서 그 1차년도 작업을 완료하였다. 1차년도의 작업 성과를 보고하면서 교감 정본화하는 과정에서 문제가 되는 부분 중 다섯 가지를 거론하여 여러 학자들의 질정을 구하려고 하였다. 1차년도의 오류를 수정 보완하고, 또 2, 3차년도의 작업에 완벽을 기하려는 것이 그 목적이다. 아울러 정본화 작업의 한 전형을 보여주는 새로운 『열하일기』필사본 자료를 소개하였다. 지금까지의 어떤 필사본과도 그 성격이 다른 이 책자는 그 내용과 교감의 방법에 있어서 중요한 시사점을 제공하고 있다는 점에서 대단히 중요한 자료이다.
Abstract
This paper consists of two main topics. The first half dealt with the important problems that were discovered during the process of writing the "Yeolhailgi(熱河日記)" symmetry, and the second half was to introduce new manuscript data of "Yeolhailgi(熱河日記)". The author completed the first year's work by taking charge of the "yeonamjip(燕巖集)" section in the composition work of the "In reporting the first year's work performance, I tried to get the attention of many scholars by mentioning five problems in the process of making a symposium. It is aimed at correcting errors in the first year and perfecting the second and third years of work. In addition, I introduced a new manuscript document that shows a typology of authorship. This manuscript, which is different from any previous manuscript, is very important in that it provides important implications for its content and method of sympathy.
