이 글은 현재 한국 국어국문학계가 안고 있는 문제에 대한 제도적 개선 가능성을 염두에 두고 쓰여졌다. 문제의 현상과 원인은 복잡하고 다기하지만 학문적 폐쇄구조, 미래지향적 교육체제에 대한 준비부족, 사회적 상황변화에 대한 적극적 대응 시스템의 부재, 그리고 연구자 생산체계의 무정부성 등이 핵심적인 사항으로 지적되었다. 그리고 이러한 분석을 근거로 문제인식과 해결주체로서의 실질적 전국학회 건설, 구조의 경량화 및 학문간 경계 철폐를 기반으로 한 교육연구체제의 재정비, 중등교사를 광범한 배후 연구자 집단으로 설정해야 한다는 대안 등이 제시되었다.
Abstract
This paper was written for searching the institutional reform possible of the various problems which have been in learned circles of Korean Language and Literature in Korea. The present state of the problems with many phases seem to be resulted from complicated and manifold causes. As the kernel of present state, I indicated several points as below：the closed academic system, lack of preparation for future-oriented education system, the absence of positive system to cope with social change, the stateof systemic anarchy in cultivating researchers. Further, through the analysis above, several countermeasures were proposed as below：improvement of the education and research system based on construction of the Academy with national scale as the subject in appreciating and solving the problems, aswell as lessening the body and abolishing of boundaries between specialities. Moreover it was pointed out that the secondary school teachers should be supposed as the far-reaching researcher group potential.
