심리 형용사 연구 - 논항 교체 유형들의 어휘 의미 구조를 중심으로 -

Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to examine argument distribution and alternation on the basis of the analysis about various arguments which psychological adjectives take and study aspectual characteristics and causal event structure, at the end describe unified semantic structure based on the lexical semantic theory of Pustejovsky. Though psychological adjectives have various caseframes and alternations, each sentence which belongs to each alternation type have its own semantic and aspectual characteristics. Therefore describing unified lexical semantic structure about those sentences means that we try to connect superficial syntactic phenomenon to semantic and aspectual characteristics. The reason that we study psychological adjectives as main subject of investigation is like this; the aspectual property of adjectives has been generally regarded as a single event 'state', but psychological adjectives have a complex event which has both state and casuality. However, the past approaches about psychological adjectives focused on only simple 'state' which is contrast to verb. In this study, we investigate the complex event of psychological adjectives which has both state and casuality in various viewpoints.
