Itisnecessarytoestimatetheregressioncoefficientsinordertopredictthedailyglobalradiationonahorizontal surface.Thereforemanydifferentequationshaveproposedtoevaluatethem forcertainareas.Inthisworkanew correlation hasbeen madeto predictthesolarradiation for16differentareasoverKoreaby estimating the regressioncoefficientstakingintoaccounthoursofbrightsunshine. Particularly,theproposedstraightlineregressionmodelshowsreliableresultsforestimatingtheglobalradiation onahorizontalsurfacewithmonthlyaveragedeviationof-0.2to+0.5% andeachstationannualaveragedeviation of-1.6to+1.7% from measuredvalues.
