1980년 이후 우리나라 자료를 사용하여 지식스톡 증가율, 기업가정신 증감, GDP 증가율(또는 총요소생산성 증가율) 간의 관계를 벡터자기회귀모형에 의해 분석한 결과, 지식스톡의 증가는 기업가정신의 증가와 경제성장 및 총요소생산성 증가에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그런데 기업가정신의 증가는 경제성장에 긍정적인 영향을 미치나 경제전체의 혁신을 의미하는 총요소생산성 증가율에는 유의적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과들에 기초할 때 우리 경제는 연구개발의 강화를 통한 지식의 축적과 함께 기업가정신의 발휘를 통한 개발기술의 상업화를 촉진할 필요가 있다. 특히, 기업가정신의 혁신성을 제고하는 노력이 더욱 필요하다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
We investigate the relationship among knowledge stock, entrepreneurship, and GDP(or total factor productivity) using VAR(Vector Autoregressive) model and Korea data 1980-2009. According to the empirical result, knowledge stock affects has a positive effect on entrepreneurship, economic growth, and TFP (total factor productivity). Compared with above result, an increase in entrepreneurship affects economic growth significantly, but does not have significant effect on TFP which implies economic innovation capacity. These results provide that Korea needs to facilitate commercialization of development technology resulting entrepreneurship as well as to accumulate knowledge via R&D activities. In particular, it is necessary to improve innovativeness of entrepreneurship.
