생각하는 기계 시대에서 미술의 교육적 의미에 관한 고찰: 존재성찰과 해석적 대화를 중심으로

이 연구는 생각하는 기계가 인간의 고유 영역 안에 들어오고 인간을 넘어서는 위기를 경험하는 시대에, 인간 존재의 흔들림에 대한 대안으로서 미술의 교육적 의미에 대한 탐구이다. 연구를 위해 컴퓨터과학을 중심으로 한 인공지능 연구에서의 인간론과 아리스토텔레스로부터 로티로 이어지는 존재와 교육의 의미를 분석하고 현대에서의 미술교육적 시사점에 대해 고찰하였다. 연구 결과, 인간이란 객관화된 그 무엇으로 규정될 수 없는 자기에 대한 존재 물음을 통해 스스로의 인간됨을 찾아가는 존재이며, 미술교육은 이러한 존재에 대해 성찰함으로써 새로운 인식의 지평으로 나아가도록 하는 해석학적 대화라는 점에서 의미를 지닌다. 따라서 생각하는 기계의 시대에 미술교육은 이미지를 통한 미학적 맥락 안에서 존재에 대한 성찰과 세계에 대한 해석적 대화가 일어나는 인식의 실천적 공간이라 할 수 있다.
Abstract
This study is an exploration of the educational meaning of art as an alternative toward the shaking human beings in the age of thinking machines. For this purpose, I analyzed the meaning of existence and education from the perspective of humanism following the discourse from Aristotle to Heidegger, Rorty. As a result, I defined the existence of human being as the one who seeks its own humanness through the questioning being itself in time and space, namely historical-cultural context. Therefor in the era of thinking machine, art should be dealt as a hermeneutic activity that leads to a new horizon of thinking by reflecting on human being, henceforth art education is to be a aesthetic realm of reflection on our being in which interpretive conversation of the world occurs.
