A Study on Application of Freinets Pedagogy forInstructional Innovation in KoreaHwang, Sung-WonKonyang UniversityThe purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning of the Freinet’s pedagogy at theclassroom in Korea, which led an movement of instrctional innovation in France.Some researchers have studied of C lestin Freinet. In term of educational practice, thisstudy scrutinized the Freinet’s pedagogy in detail and depth, other than on his life andpedagogical philosophy.The questions which this study investigated were as followings;First, in what perspective did the scholars in America and Japan approach to and interpretthe Freinet’s pedagogy?
