초등학생의 공격성 유형에 따른 대인관계성향과 대인문제해결사고의 차이 분석

이 연구의 목적은 외현화된 공격성 유형 집단과 관계 공격성 유형 집단에 따라 대인관계에서 보이는 특징적인 성향과 또래관계 문제해결 사고의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 초등학생 428명을 대상으로 하였다. 또래거명에 의한 방법으로 공격성을 보이는 아동들을 외현화와 관계 공격성 집단으로 분류하였다. 그런 후 집단간의 대인관계성향 차이를 분석하였으며, 대인문제 해결사고의 집단간 차이와 응답의 질적 특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과, ‘사교-우호’, ‘반항-불신’ 성향이 외현화 공격성과 관계 공격성 집단을 유의하게 구별해 주는 요인으로 나타났다. 그리고 공격성 유형별로 나타난 대인문제해결 사고의 특징은 관계 공격성집단이 문제해결 대안을 양적으로 가장 많이 산출하였으며, 대인문제의 원인을 물건보다는 사람에게 더 많이 귀인하였다. 이에 반해 외현화 공격성 집단은 모든 하위사고에서 일관되게 관계 공격성 집단보다 대안의 수가 적었고, 문제의 원인을 물건에 더 많이 귀인하는 것으로 나타났다. 관계공격성 아동들의 대인관계성향과 문제해결사고의 특징을 외현화공격성 아동과 일반아동과 비교함으로써 그 특성을 부각시켰다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Abstract

The information of relational aggression is relatively insufficient comparing the overt aggression. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the interpersonal relations and the interpersonal cognitive problem solving strategies among the types of aggression. Participants were 428 6th graders in 4 elementary schools. They were classified into Overt Aggression group and Relational Aggression group, and General group by peer nomination. The scale of Interpersonal Relation Dispositions(IRD) and the Interpersonal Cognitive Problem Solving Strategies(ICPSS) were used to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively. The data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA, Tukey test, percentage. There were significant differences between two aggression types in IRD which were 'social - friendly' and 'resist - distrust'. And as for the characteristics in ICPSS, the relational aggression groups produced more problem solving alternatives than other groups, and attributed a cause for interpersonal problem to a person more than to an object. Contrary to this, the Overt Aggression group consistently had the fewer number of responses than the Relational Aggression group in all subcategories, and attributed to the thing-to-thing aspect. The meaning of this study can be found in that interpersonal relations and interpersonal cognitive problem solving strategies of relational aggressive children are revealed comparing with Relational Aggressive children and General children.
