노동환경 유형화를 통한 대인 서비스직종의 일자리 위험 분석

본 연구의 목적은 서비스 경제로 이행하면서 확대된 대인 서비스 일자리에서 산업재해 위험의 양상을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 근로환경조사(KWCS) 6차 자료를 활용하여, 노동환경을 일자리 유해요인 6개 차원(작업환경적 위험, 인간공학적 위험, 일자리 위협, 노동강도, 감정적 요구, 비사회적 작업일정)과 일자리 보호요인 2개 차원(노동 자율성, 노동자 참여와 조직화)으로 구성하여 잠재계층분석을 실시하였다. 또한 기술통계와 교차분석을 실시하여 노동환경 유형에 따라 위험을 생성하고 전가하는 구조적 요인으로 고려되는 노동시장 및 인구사회학적 특징이 어떻게 다른지를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대인 서비스 직종의 노동환경 유형은 3개 집단으로, ① 공통 위험형, ② 노동강도 위험형, ③ 육체 위험형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 대인 서비스 직종의 대부분은 같은 직업 내에서도 서로 다른 노동환경 유형이 공존하였다. 셋째, 공통 위험형과 비교하여 더 많은 종류의 위험을 가지고 있는 유형들에서 노동시장 및 인구사회학적 분포가 다르게 나타났다. 노동강도 위험형은 공통 위험형에 비해 정규직, 1~4인의 영세 사업장, 청년의 비중이 상대적으로 높게 나타났고, 육체 위험형은 남성, 10~49인과 100인 이상의 사업장, 고령 노동자의 비중이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 결론에서는 연구결과를 바탕으로 대인 서비스 직종의 산업재해 위험을 예방할 수 있는 정책적 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the patterns of industrial accident risks that have emerged in interpersonal service jobs, which have expanded with the transition to a service economy. In doing so, using data from the 6th Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS), the study conducted a latent class analysis by constructing the working environment comprehensively as six dimensions of job hazards factors (physical risks, ergonomic risks, intimidation, emotional demands, work intensity, unsocial work schedules) and two dimensions of job protection factors (work autonomy and worker participation and organization). Additionally, to examine how the working environment varies depending on labor market and demographic characteristics, which have been identified as structural factors that generate and shift risks, frequency analysis and cross-tabulation were conducted. The key findings of this study are as follows: First, the working environment types in interpersonal service occupations were classified into three types: ① common risk type, ② work intensity risk type, and ③ physical risk type. Second, different types coexisted within the same occupation. Third, compared to the common risk type, the distribution of the two other types revealed that the labor intensity risk type had a relatively higher proportion of regular workers, workers in small businesses with 1-4 employees, and younger workers, while the physical risk type had a higher proportion of male workers, workers in businesses with 10-49 and 100 or more employees, and older workers. Based on these findings, the study provides recommendations for preventing risks in interpersonal service occupations.
