신세대협동조합 운영원칙의 이론적 배경 고찰

Abstract

The vertical relationship between farmers and cooperative is critical aspect in the new agricultural marketing environment. In the conventional cooperatives strongly adopting the patronage refund principle, the farmers’ opportunistic behaviors are critical problems undermining the vertical relationship. In order to mitigate the opportunistic behaviors and increase the equity capital, the New Generation Cooperatives(NGC) adopt the transferable delivery rights. The NGC’s principles are good mechanism to solve the property right problems in the cooperatives. When we benchmarks the NGC’s principles in reform of cooperative system in Korea it needs to be understanding their theoretical background.
