장애학생의 일반중학교 학교적응 척도 타당화 연구

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 일반중학교에 통합된 장애학생에게 적합한 학교적응 척도내용을 구성하고 타당도와 신뢰도 검증과정을 거쳐 장애학생의 일반중학교 학교적응 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 국내외 선행연구 및 국내에서 이미 사용되고 있는 학교적응 척도를 분석하여 학교적응의 구성요인 및 문항을 추출하고, 특수교육전문가 집단에게 내용타당도를 검증받은 후, 전국 일반중학교 특수학급 교사와 일반학급 교사 350명을 대상으로 신뢰도와 구인타당도를 알아보았다. 척도의 신뢰도 검증을 위해 내적합치도를 산출하고, 구인타당도 검증을 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 학교만족, 수업참여, 학교규칙 준수, 친구 및 교사 관계, 학교환경 적응의 5가지 하위 영역으로 구성된 총 29개 문항의 장애학생의 일반중학교 학교적응 척도가 개발되었다. 본 연구는 장애학생의 중등교육 환경에서의 통합교육이 확산되고 있고, 장애학생을 대상으로 사용할 수 있는 학교적응 척도가 전무한 현 상황에서 장애학생의 일반중학교 환경에서의 학교적응을 평가할 수 있는 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도를 개발하였다는데 그 의의를 지닌다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop and validate an instrument to measure school adjustment for middle school students with disabilities. For this purpose, the literature was first reviewed regarding school adjustment and its scales, and then the constructs of school adjustment were extracted for this study. Based on these constructs, this study created the items to measure school adjustment and conducted analysis for their validity. The subjects of this study were 350 teachers of nationwide 167 middle schools. The reliability of the scale was tested through the internal consistency estimate by Cronbach's alpha and validity of the scale was tested through confirmatory factor analysis. From confirmatory factor analysis, this study developed a 29-item scale of school adjustment for middle school students with disabilities which consisted of five factors including school satisfaction, academic engagement, observance of the school rules, peer and teacher relationship, and school environment adjustment. The reliability of the scale was also high (Cronbach's alpha across all the items = .922). Finally, it was found that the school adjustment scale for middle school students with disabilities was a valid measure for evaluating the school adjustment of middle school students with disabilities.
