중소기업 적정범위에 관한 연구

초록
중소기업 범위의 중요성에도 불구하고 중소기업 범위의 적정성에 관한 연구가 별로 없다. 중소기업 현황의 국제 비교, 중소기업의 정의, 중소기업 지원의 논리, 중소기업 범위 기준의 조건, 중소기업 범위의 변천, 중소기업 범위 기준의 국제 비교, 중소기업 범위 변경 시 기업의 부담 변화 등을 고려하여 적정한 질적, 양적인 중소기업 범위를 구하였다. 특히 양적 범위 기준을 찾아내기 위하여 기업체 기준 2005년 전산업 센서스 통계 자료를 처음 이용하였다.
Abstract
Although the definition of SMEs is very important for SMEs supporting policies, there have not been much research. We try to find better definition of SMEs by examining the SMEs’ current situation in Korea and other countries, the standards of SMEs, rationale for supporting SMEs, the history of change of SMEs’ definitions, foreign definitions of SMEs and effects of definition change on firms’ tax burden. We utilize the newly available enterprise-based industry census data to find quantitative standards of SMEs.
