시설아동의 애착경험과 자아개념에 대한 질적 연구: 근거이론 중심으로
A Qualitative Study about Institutionalized Children's Attachment Experience and Self-concept: An Approach Based on Grounded Theory

본 연구에서는 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)이 제시한 근거이론적 접근을 통하여 시설아동의 주변 환경에 대한 경험과 과거․현재의 애착경험, 그리고 자아개념의 유형과 형성에 대해 내부자적 관점에서 탐색해 보는데 목적을 둔다. 본 연구는 D지역 S 보육원에서 생활하고 있는 10세∼13세 시설아동 10명과 사회복지사 3명을 대상으로 심층면담과 관찰을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석의 결과, 개방코딩 단계에서는 총 88개의 개념, 29개의 하위범주, 6개의 범주가 도출되었다. 축코딩 단계에서 패러다임 모델이 만들어졌다. 그 중심현상으로는 ‘부정적 자아개념’이었으며, 인과적 조건으로 ‘입소 당시 기억’, ‘주양육자에 대한 부정적 평가’, ‘과거의 애착경험(친부모)’, ‘주양육자에 대한 그리움’으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of the attachment and the self-concept formation for institutionalized children as the inner perspective, using a grounded theory presented by Strauss and Corbin(1998). The research was conducted through in-depth interviews and participation observation for the study. The participants were 10(10∼13years) children and 3 social workers at Institution “S” in Daegu. As a result of data analysis, total 88 concepts, 29 subcategories, 6 categories were derived in open coding. In an axial coding, the outcomes of a paradigm model were made. The central Phenomenon was ‘neglect self-concept’. The causal conditions was ‘memory of the enterance into orphanage’, ‘negative assessment of the fosterer’, ‘experience of the attachment with parents’, ‘long for the fosterer’.
