탈시설 지원을 위한 지원정도척도(SIS)의 심리측정학적 특성 분석: 지적장애인을 대상으로

본 연구의 목적은 지원정도척도(Supports Intensity Scale: SIS)가 지적장애인들의 탈시설 지원을 계획하고 실행하는데 필요한 지원 정도를 측정하기에 적절한 심리측정학적 특성을 갖춘 도구인지를 알아보는데 있었다. 이를 위해 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 확인하였다. 연구의 대상은 J시 주거시설에 거주 중인 지적장애인 198명이었다. 거주시설 지적장애인들의 생활을 지원하는 사회/생활재활교사 22명을 통해 지원척도결과를 수집하였다. 타당도는 장애등급별로 필요한 지원 정도를 알아보는 변별타당도, 하위 영역 간의 상관 및 연령과 하위 영역 간의 상관, 연령에 따른 지원요구의 차이를 통해 알아보는 구성타당도를 통해 확인하였고, 신뢰도는 문항별 Cronbach α를 산출하여 확인하였다. 연구 결과 평생학습 영역을 제외하고 지원요구척도의 모든 영역에서 장애급별로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 구성타당도의 경우 각 영역 간에 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연령과 각 하위 영역 간의 상관은 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 연령에 따른 지원요구는 평생학습 영역을 제외하고 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 신뢰도 확인 결과 지원요구척도 하위영역들의 Cronbach α가 .77이상으로 나타났으며, 요구 척도 하위 영역의 신뢰도는 의료와 행동 지원 요구 영역의 신뢰도보다 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 거주시설의 지적장애인들을 위한 지원정도를 계획하기 위한 측정 도구로서의 지원정도척도의 심리측정학적 의의를 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out whether the Supports Intensity Scale was a tool with psychometric properties appropriate for measuring the degree of deinstitutionalization support for people with intellectual disabilities in facilities. 22 social residential workers who were caringfor people with intellectual disabilities participated in this study. The results presented that there were significant differences in disability levels in all domains of support demand scale except lifelong learning domain, and there was a significant correlation between constitutional validity scores in each domain. The correlation between age and each sub-domain was low, and there was no significant difference except for the lifelong learning area. Cronbach α was more than. 70, and the reliability of subscale of support scale was higher than that of medical and behavior support. Based on the results of this study, we discussed the psychometric significance of the scale of support as a measurement tool to plan the degree of support for people with disabilities in facilities.
