본 연구의 목적은 뇌성마비인 근로자의 임금수준에 대한 실증적인 분석을 통하여 뇌성마비인의 임금수준에 영향을 미치는 결정 요인을 규명해 내고, 뇌성마비인의 임금수준의 증대를 위한 장애인복지 정책적 함의를 도출해 내고자 하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 임금 결정에 미치는 요인을 살펴보면, 결혼상태, 연령, 교육수준, 차별, 단순노무직 여부, 직장규모 변수가 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 뇌성마비인의 임금수준의 증대를 위한 함의는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 본 연구의 이론적 의의는 뇌성마비인의 노동시장에 영향력을 미치는 것은 사회모델에 관련된 이론들인 장애의 사회모델과 노동시장이론이 개인모델에 관련된 이론인 개인의 인적자본이론보다 더 설득력을 얻고 있다는 것을 입증하였기에, 지금까지 장애인 근로자의 임금의 열악함을 설명하려고 했던 많은 연구들에 대해 객관적이고 체계적인 분석 자료를 제시함으로써 새로운 연구를 위한 출발점을 제공하였다.
Abstract
This study, through an empirical analysis of the wage standards of employed persons with cerebral palsy, factors that affect their employability and wage standards are examined, and also aims to draw out the social welfare policies for improvement in their employment rate and wage standards. The summary of the results are as follows. Looking at the effect of each factor on wage, the wage was predictable from marital status, age bracket, education level, discrimination, simple labor, and scale of employer. Suggestions for welfare practice and establishment and execution of policies for the welfare of disabled for solving wages of persons with cerebral palsy are as follows. First, the social model of disability corresponding to the Social model surrounding the persons with cerebral palsy and labor market segmentation theory have a great impact on salary; for this reason, social responsibility for the disability is great to some extent.
