초록

본 연구에서는 국내외 문헌과 국외에서 개발된 우수 교육과정중심 진단평가 도구의 분석을 통해 교육과정중심 진단평가의 특성과 도구의 유형, 주요 도구의 문항과 및 평가 체계를 고찰하고 이를 토대로 향후 국내 발달지체 영유아를 위한 교육과정중심 진단평가 도구 개발에 따른 시사점을 알아보았다. AEPS와 CCPSN-II, BDI-II의 분석결과, 도구에 따라서는 단기목표로 사용할 수 있는 세부 문항을 제시하고 있거나 각각의 문항을 과제 분석하여 단기목표로 사용할 수 있는 방법을 제안해 주고 있으며, 개별 또는 집단 중재활동 내용과 방법을 제공하고 있어 교육 현장에서의 활용성이 높은 편이었다. 또한 평정척도와 아동진전 기록표의 제시, 관찰과 부모면담, 직접 검사를 적용한 다차원적인 진단평가의 제안은 교사들이 주기적으로 아동을 평가할 수 있도록 돕고 있고, 평가결과에 따라 IEP의 목표 및 교육과정의 수정을 통한 중재활동이 이루어지도록 돕고 있는 장점이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 국외의 우수 교육과정중심 진단평가 도구 분석 결과에 따라 향후 우리나라 유아특수교육현장에 적합한 교육과정 중심 진단평가 도구 개발 시 고려해야할 점을 활용성, 수용성, 사실성, 협력성, 수렴성, 평등성, 민감성, 일치성 기준을 토대로 제안하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify characteristics of curriculum-based assessment and model assessment instruments and to suggest implications for future curriculum-based assessment instrument development for young children with special needs in Korea. For this purpose, research articles and a few model assesment instruments such as Assessment, Evaluation, and Programing System (AEPS), The Carolina Curriculum for Preschoolers with Special Needs, Second Edition (CCPSN-II), Battelle Developmental Inventory-II (BDI-II) were analysed. The results show that the AEPS includes items that can be used for long term educational goals and short term objectives development. On the other hand, the BDI-II presents methods of task analysis to develop IEP/IFSP objectives and ideas on existing curriculum modification approaches. The AEPS and CCPSN-II include curricula activities which assists professionals and parents facilitate embedding a range of specific goals and objectives withing a single activity. They demonstrated high utilities for early intervention and early childhood special education settings. The model instruments also provide systematic framework for initial and ongoing assessment, intervention planning, and evaluation, using various approaches such as direct testing, observation, and parent interview. This research article presents implications for future development of appropriate curriculum-based instruments for children who receive early childhood special education services in Korea, based on criteria of utility, acceptability, authenticity, collaboration, convergence, equity, sensitivity, and congruence.
