본 연구는 장애아보육시설 교사들의 직무스트레스 정도와 스트레스 대처방법을 파악하고 교사의 배경변인(성별, 연령, 학력, 전공, 결혼여부, 보육시설소재지, 직무분야, 근무경력, 근무시간, 월평균보수, 총원아수)에 따른 직무스트레스와 대처방법의 차이를 알아보기 위해 실시된 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 조사대상은 호남(광주광역시, 전라남북도)지역 소재 장애아보육시설 전체 교사 176명이었으며 배부된 설문지는 139부였고 이 가운데 113부가 회수되어(회수율: 81%) 최종분석된 설문지는 109부였다. 사용된 설문지는 세 부로 구성되었는데 1부에는 교사의 배경변인과 관련된 11문항이 포함되었으며, 2부에는 교사의 직무스트레스와 관련된 5점척도 31문항이 7개 요인별로 포함되었고, 3부에는 스트레스 대처방법과 관련된 5점척도 35문항이 5개 요인별로 포함되었다. 교사의 직무스트레스와 대처방법은 요인별 그리고 전체적으로 파악되었으며 배경변인에 따른 직무스트레스와 대처방법의 차이도 요인별 그리고 전체적으로 분석되었다. 분석된 결과는 선행연구와 관련하여 논의되었으며 향후 관련연구를 위한 몇 가지 제언이 제시되었다.
Abstract
This study aimed to provide information on occupational stress and coping strategies of teachers at daycare centers for young children with disabilities. To do this, a questionnaire was distributed to 139 teachers working at specialized daycare centers for young children with disabilities or inclusive daycare centers for young children with disabilities in the area of Honam(Gwangju, Chonnam, and Chonbuk). One hundred thirteen questionnaires were returned and analyzed to answer three research questions as follows:① What is the level of occupational stress of teachers at daycare centers for young children with disabilities?② What are the coping strategies of teachers at daycare centers for young children with disabilities?③ Is there any differences in occupational stress and coping strategies of teachers at daycare centers for young children with disabilities according to background variables such as gender, age, education level, major, marital status, center location, service field, working career, working hours, monthly pay, and total number of children at the center? The results are discussed in relation to previous research in order of the three research questions and some considerations for future research are presented.
