주의집중 활동이 주의력결핍 과잉행동 아동의 과제불이행 및 과다언어행동에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 주의집중 활동 프로그램이 주의력결핍 과잉행동 아동의 수업방해 행동에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있었다. 특수학교에 재학중이며 주의력결핍 과잉행동 장애의 진단 기준과 주의력결핍 과잉행동 평정 척도에 의해 주의력결핍 과잉행동 아동으로 진단된 2명의 아동을 선정하여 주의집중 활동 프로그램이 과제불이행 행동, 과다 언어의 감소에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구의 진행은 4일간 기초선 검사를 실시하였고, 주의 집중 활동 프로그램 중재를 15일간 일일 40분씩 실시하였다. 유지 기간은 4일간이었다. 주의집중 활동 프로그램 운영은 1시 40분부터 2시 20분까지 40분 수업 시간동안 중재하였고 이때 1분 간격으로 표적행동을 관찰하여 기록하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 본 연구자에 의한 주의집중 활동 프로그램이 아동 A, 아동 B에게 동일하게 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
Abstract
This study was designed to examine the effectiveness of attention-concentration program for the children with ADHD. Two children in the second grade of special school attendees who were diagnosed with ADHD, according to diagnosis criteria and assessment instruments for ADHD participated in the attention concentration training program. After four days of basic examination, the program was undertaken on class between 13:40 p.m. and 14:20 p.m. (40 minutes) for 15 days. Target behaviors were observed with one minute interval. The completion of the program was followed by the 4-day maintenance period. The following changes occurred in target behaviors and task performance of the two children according to observation of their behaviors before and after the intervention program and graphical analysis. In result, significant improvement in their task performance as they finished their tasks more often. Lastly, a significant decreased was seen in their behavior of talking incessantly. In conclusion, the attention concentration training program was effective for reducing distractive behaviors as well as improving task performance in the two children with ADHD.
