서부경남 유아의 정서행동문제 연구

초록

진주, 사천, 남해, 하동을 중심으로 한 서부경남 소도시 유아의 정서행동문제 특성을 밝혀 유아의 정서행동문제를 보다 적극적으로 예방하고, 유아가 보다 긍정적이고 발전적인 방향으로 발달할 수 있도록 하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 유아 정서행동문제에 영향을 주는 요인을 개인내적변인, 부모변인, 가족환경 변인으로 나누어 각 변인에 따라 정서행동문제에 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보았다. 그 결과 첫째, 개인내적 변인 중 성별에서는 공격성, 과잉활동, 신체화 증상, 주의집중이 사회적 기술의 정서행동문제에서는 남아가, 위축의 정서행동문제에서는 여아가 높게 나타났다. 연령에서는 만 4세 이하 유아는 외현화 행동문제, 과잉활동, 위축, 사회적 기술 등의 정서행동문제가 있었으며, 연령이 낮을수록 과잉활동과 같은 외현화 행동문제를 더 보였다. 둘째. 부모변인에서는 아버지의 교육수준이 높을수록 유아의 정서행동문제가 적게 나타났다. 셋째. 가족환경 변인에서는 사회경제적수준이 낮을수록 불안과 내면화 행동문제가 있었으며, 사회경제적수준이 높은 경우에는 신체화와 같은 정서행동문제가 보였다. 출생순위에서는 첫째가 우울, 불안 등의 내면화 문제와 비전형적 정서행동문제가 있었으며, 외동의 경우에는 과잉활동, 외현화 행동문제를 보였다. 가족유형에서는 편부 자녀들의 사회적 기술이 부족하였다.

Abstract

This study aims at clarifying characteristic of behavioral problems of the infants living in small cities, such as Jinju, Namhae, and Hadong in souther part of Gyeongnam. The result were as follows : First, it was found that in terms of sex distinction, male infants showed bigger behavioral problems with aggressiveness, overaction, somatizing syndrome, attentive concentration problem, and social skills, while female infants showed big problems with shrinking. As for age, infants aged less than full four showed their behavioral problems with overaction, externalized behavioral problems, shrinking, and social skills, etc. and the lower their age, the bigger their overactive externalized behavioral problems. Second, as for the parental characteristic variable, the higher a father's educational background, the lower his infant' behavioral problems. Third, as for the family environment variable, the lower socioeconomic standard a family has, the bigger anxiety and internalized problems its infant has; in case of high socioeconomic level, there appeared internal behavioral problems only in somatization. In terms of birth order, the first infant showed big internalization problems, such as gloominess, and anxiety, etc. and non-representative problems while the only infant showed overaction and externalization problems.
