역기능적 상위인지와 부정적 정서가 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향: 성인 ADHD 성향 집단별 차이를 중심으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 성인 ADHD 성향 집단별로 역기능적 상위인지와 부정적 정서가 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 서울, 경기 지역 대학생 1,300명을 대상으로 성인 ADHD 평정 척도, 역기능적 상위인지 질문지, 우울 척도, 상태 불안 척도 및 성인용 스마트폰 중독 자가진단 척도를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Win 21.0 프로그램을 이용해 빈도분석, 평균, 표준편차, 독립표본 t검정, Pearson의 상관관계분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 진행하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인 ADHD 성향이 높은 집단과 낮은 집단 간 부정적 정서(우울, 불안)는 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않은 반면, 역기능적 상위인지와 스마트폰 중독은 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 둘째, 성인 ADHD 성향 집단에 따라 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 변인들의 상대적 영향력은 차이를 나타냈다. 성인 ADHD 성향이 높은 집단의 경우 사고통제 불가능과 위험에 대한 부정적 신념, 우울, 사고통제 필요성에 대한 신념의 순으로, 성인 ADHD 성향이 낮은 집단의 경우 우울, 사고통제 필요성에 대한 신념의 순으로 각각 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of dysfunctional meta-cognition and negative emotion on smartphone addiction in adults with ADHD tendency. For this study, the participants were 1,300 university students from five universities in Seoul and Gyeonggido. They were asked to complete adult ADHD rating scale, dysfunctional meta-cognition questionnaires, depression inventory, state-trait anxiety inventory and smartphone addiction self rating scale. The data collected were analyzed through frequency analysis, an average, standard deviation, independent sample t-test, Pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis by using SPSS Win 21.0 program. The main findings of this study are as follows: First, while there was no significant difference in negative emotion(depression, anxiety) between the upper and lower group of adults with ADHD tendency, both dysfunctional meta-cognition and smartphone addiction showed statistically significant difference. Second, there was significant difference in the relative influence of variables on smartphone addiction according to the groups of adults with ADHD tendency. The upper group of adults with ADHD tendency had significant effects on smartphone addiction in order of negative beliefs about uncontrollability of thoughts and danger, depression, beliefs about need to control thoughts; the lower group in order of depression and beliefs about need to control thoughts.
