청소년의 공격성 변화궤적 유형과 예측요인 탐색: 성차를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 KCYPS 중1 패널의 1차년도에서 4차년도(2018∼2021년) 자료를 활용하여 남녀 청소년의 공격성 변화 궤적에 따라 잠재계층을 분류하고, 이 잠재계층에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 중1 패널 2,121명을 최종 분석 대상으로 선정하였으며, 이 중 남학생은 1,134명, 여학생은 987명이었다. 자료 분석은 Mplus 8.3과 SPSS 25.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 성장 혼합 모형과 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 공격성 잠재계층을 분류한 결과, 남학생은 ‘평균-상승형’, ‘평균-유지형’, ‘고수준-감소형’, ‘평균-감소형’의 집단으로 분류되었으며, 여학생은 ‘평균-상승형’, ‘평균-유지형’, ‘평균-감소형’의 집단으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 남녀 청소년의 공격성 잠재계층에 영향을 미치는 예측 요인으로 긍정적인 친구 관계가 있었으며, 남학생은 친구 관계를 긍정적으로 지각할수록 ‘고수준-감소형’ 집단보다 ‘평균-유지형’ 집단에 포함될 가능성이 높았고, 여학생은 ‘평균-유지형’ 집단보다 ‘평균-감소형’ 집단에 포함될 가능성이 높았다. 이러한 결과를 통해 남녀 청소년의 공격성을 예방하고 감소시키기 위한 개입 방안을 도출하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to classify the latent classes according to the trajectories of aggression in male and female adolescents using data from the first to fourth years (2018-2021) of the 1st year of middle school panel of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) and to explore the factors that influence these classified latent classes. For this purpose, a total of 2,121 1st year of middle school panel members were included in the final analysis, with 1,134 male students and 987 female students. Data analysis was conducted using Mplus 8.3 and SPSS 25.0 statistical programs, employing growth mixture modeling and multinomial logistic regression analysis. First, as a result of classifying the latent classes of aggression in adolescents, male students were classified into 'Average-Increasing', 'Average-Stable', 'High-Decreasing', and 'Average-Decreasing' groups, while female students were classified into 'Average-Increasing', 'Average-Stable', and 'Average- Decreasing' groups. Second, a positive peer relationship was a predictive factor influencing the latent classes of aggression in both male and female adolescents. Male students who perceived their peer relationships positively were more likely to be included in the 'Average-Stable' group than in the 'High-Decreasing' group, and female students were more likely to be included in the 'Average-Decreasing' group than in the 'Average-Stable' group. These results suggest intervention strategies to prevent and reduce aggression in male and female adolescents.
