본고에서는 교리 설교의 정의, 필요성과 유익 그리고 어떻게 구체적으로 행할 수 있을 것인가를 논의하였다. 필자는 본고를 통해 교리 설교가 많이 오해되어 왔음을 지적하였다. 교리는 지루하고 딱딱한 개념이 아니고 교리 설교는 복음과 대립되는 설교도 아니다. 교리는 얼마든지 흥미로운 주제가 될수 있고, 교리 설교는 복음의 기초를 제공하며 그 자체가 예수 그리스도를크게 드러내는 설교가 될 수 있다. 또한 교리 설교는 오늘날 교회의 위기를극복하는데 반드시 필요하고 유익한 것임을 확인하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the definition, necessity, benefit and practical means of doctrinal preaching. The writer points out that the doctrinal preaching has been much misunderstood. The doctrinal preaching is not tedious, rigid and confrontational to the gospel. Christian Doctrine can be an interesting topic in preaching. Doctrinal preaching also gives the foundation of the gospel. The writer strongly assets that the doctrinal preaching should be practiced for the pulpit of the Korean Church.
