이 논문에서 한국교회에서 가르침의 사건으로서의 설교의 필요성에 논하고자 한다. 연구의 초점은 가르침의 설교의 필요성과 원리에 두고 있다. 이 연구는 한국교회가 직면하고 있는 도전들에서 몇 가지 소극적인 예로부터 출발하고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 즉 한국사회에서의 그리스도인의 정체성, 그리스도인으로서의 생각과 행동에 대한 변화의 문제와 성숙이다. 첫 번째 소극적인 예는 그리스도를 통한 변화와 신앙의 성숙의 문제이다. 오늘날 한국의 그리스도인은 변화의 대행자로서의 능력과 사회의 책임 있는 역할을 잃어버렸다. 두 번째 소극적인 현상은 세속 사회에서의 그리스도인의 정체성의 위기와 관련되어 있다. 이 현상은 한국적 상황에서 그리스도인으로의 존재와, 사고, 그리고 행동과 관련되어 있다. 사실, 교회는 새로운 시대를 선도해가는 것보다 세속적 종교들에 의해 둘러싸여 있다. 결과적으로 오늘날 만연하는 사회질서 속에서 그리스도인은 정체성을 배우고 확립하는데 관심이 없으며 공동체속에서 삶을 해석하고 윤리적 삶을 살아가며 그리고 바른 행동에 대해 해석하고 알아가려고 하는데 동기부여가 없다. 그 결과, 한국교회 그리스도인은 예수 그리스도의 온전하심과 같이 성숙한 그리스도인에 이르지 못하고 있다. 이 연구는 가르침의 사건으로서의 설교를 위한 이론적 원리들과 방법들을 위해 드러내지 못하지만 그러나 우리의 강단에서 보다 나은 설교의 패러다임의 도전을 추구하고 있다.
Abstract
In this article I want to address the need of preaching as a teaching event in the Korean church. The study focused on finding the need and principle of the preaching as a teaching event. The study gave us the following several examples of stagnation in the Korean church challenges: the crisis of Christian identity in Korean society, and the problem of change for Christians in relation to with thinking and acting in Christ and maturity of faith. The first example of stagnation relates to concerns the problem of change through Christ and a maturity of faith. Today, Korean Christians have lost their power as agents of change and playing a responsible role in society. The second example of stagnation relates to the crisis of Christian identity in secular Korean society. This stagnation is linked to concrete problems of being, thinking and acting as a Christian in the Korean context. The church is, in part, surrendering to secular religions, rather than taking the lead in the new era. As a result, in terms of the social order that prevails today, people do not feel motivated to learn about the Christian identity, its interpretation of life in their community and its application for an ethical existence and for morally upright in their community and its application for an ethical existence and for morally upright behavior. As a result, Korean Christians have not grown into mature adulthood according to the measure of the fullness of Christ. The study was not carried out by the direct application of the theoretical principles and methods for the preaching as a teaching event but challenge to seek better preaching paradigm in our pulpit.
