설교 사역은 교회를 창조하고, 세워가는 사역이다. 오늘날 교회 공동체가 세속화된 것은 교회가 하나님의 내러티브에 의해서 형성되지 못하고, 이 세상의 내러티브에 의해서 형성되어온 결과이다. 이런 결과는 기독교 이야기의이해와 실천에 있어서 근본적인 변화를 가져왔다. 더 나아가 목회자/설교의역할 뿐만 아니라 설교의 내용에도 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 교회가 세속화를극복하고 이 시대 속에 교회의 사명을 다하기 위해서는 교회는 대안적 공동체로 세워져야 한다. 교회의 본질과 사명을 회복하기 위한 설교 사역은 성경의 내러티브가 그려내는 대안적 실재를 드러내는 일이다. 대안적 실재를 드러내는 설교는 이 세상의 내러티브에 대안이 되는 하나님의 일하심의 세계를 드러내는 설교이다. 대안적 실재를 드러내는 설교는 설교해석의 문제이며, 또한 설교의 의사소통의 문제이다. 논문에서는 대안적 설교의 특징과 방법들을 규명하고자 하였다. 먼저, 설교의 해석적 측면에서 대안적 실재를 드러내는 해석의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성경은 교회의 정체성과 사명을 세우는데 중요한 역할을 하며, 성경을 해석하는 일은 성경이 드러내는 하나님의 드라마 속에 교회 공동체가참여하는 일이다. 둘째, 이를 위해서 성경 전체의 흐름 즉 하나님의 구원 드라마 속에서 설교 본문을 해석하는 것이다. 셋째, 하나님의 내러티브가 개인의 내러티브로 축소되거나 인간중심적인 해석의 오류를 피하기 위해서 하나님 중심적으로 해석하는 것이다. 마지막으로 대안적 실재가 만들어내는 교회를 중심으로 해석하는 것이다. 그럴 때에, 교회는 성경의 내러티브를 따라서 형성되어지고, 하나님의 내러티브에 참여하게 된다. 또한 대안적 실재를 의사소통하기 위해서 전통적인 연역적, 인식론적-명제적 설교 형식의 한계를 지적하였고, 또한 신설교학에서 강조되어온 귀납적 설교의 문제도 지적하였다. 그리고 이어서 귀납적 설교 형식이지만 좀 더신학적 플롯을 가지고 있는 회심의 수사학을 대안적 실재를 드러내는 설교형식으로 제안하였다. 이를 통해서 한국교회가 다시한번 하나님의 내러티브로 세워져서 이 사회에 진정한 대안적 공동체가 되길 소망한다.
Abstract
The ministry of preaching is to create and build up the church. Nowadays the reason that the church has been secularised is the result of the church not being formed by God’s Narrative, but by worldly narratives. The result has influenced the understanding and practices of the Christian Story. Furthermore, it has influenced the role of the ministers and their preaching and also the contents of sermons. Therefore, in order to overcome the secularisation of the church and to fulfil its mission relevantly, the church has to be built up as an alternative community. Preaching to rebuild the identity and mission of the church has to focus on describing an alternative reality from the Bible. Preaching to describe an alternative reality is to reveal God’s work in the world as an alternative to the worldly narratives. Also this is not only hermeneutic, but also communicative work. This article is to identify the characteristics and methods of preaching to describe an alternative reality. From a homiletical hermeneutic perspective, some characteristics of hermeneutic for an alternative reality are as follows. First, the Bible has a very important role in the upbuilding of the church and its interpretation for the church to participate into the drama of God revealed through the Bible. Second, in order to achieve this, the text has to be interpreted in the Meta-Narrative. Third, the text has to be interpreted using a theocentricinterpretation in order to avoid God's narrative being interpreted privately and individualistically. And finally, it should be interpreted centered on the church formed by the alternative reality. Then the church will be formed by the biblical narrative and participate into the drama of God. Also to communicate an alternative reality, it is not appropriate to use the traditional deductive, cognitive-propositional rhetoric. Furthermore an inductive sermon in New homiletic is also not suitable. Therefore, this article proposes a ‘homiletic rhetoric of turning’ as a sermon structure to describe an alternative reality. Through this, I hope the churches in Korea are formed by God’s narrative and become authentic alternative communities.
