현대 신약 비평본들(NA28, UBS5, SBLGNT, RGNT3, NTOG)에 대한 비교 연구: 야고보서를 중심으로

초록

본 논문은 국내에서 네스틀레-알란트 비평본이 주요 위치를 차지하고 있는 상황에서 다양한 비평본들의 등장으로 야기될 수 있는 의문점들을 해소하기 위해 작성되었다. 선별된 5개의 비평본들에 대한 개론과 편집 형식 소개와 더불어, 야고보서의 예를 통해 비평본들 상호간의 관계를 살펴봄으로서 각 비평본들의 특징들과 그에 따른 유용성을 살펴보았다. 이에 따라 다음의 결 과를 도출했다: 첫째, 재구성된 본문의 특징과 관련하여, NA28, UBS5, RGNT3 은 절충본문에 속하고, NTOG는 대체적으로 외교본문1을 에 속하며, SBLGNT은 유사 외교본문2으로 평가할 수 있다. 따라서 사본학적 이해나 주 석학을 위해서는 NA28, UBS5, RGNT3을 선택하되, NTOG와 SBLGNT는 필요 에 따라 사용하면 된다. 둘째, 편집방법과 관련하여, NA28, UBS5, RGNT3, NTOG는 사본들을 분석 및 평가하여 본문을 결정하는 일반적인 원문 복원학 방법을 따라 편집되었다. 그러나 SBLGNT는 비평본들을 대조해서 본문을 결정한 방식으로 편집되었다. 따라서 사본 연구를 위해서는 NA28, UBS5, RGNT3, NTOG를, 비평본 연구를 위해서는 SBLGNT을 사용하면 된다. 셋째, 본문 유 형과 관련하여, NA28, UBS5, SBLGNT, RGNT3는 알렉산드리아계 본문 유형 을, NTOG는 비잔틴계 본문 유형을 따른다. 한편, 상호 의존 관계를 보자면, UBS5와 RGNT3은 NA27/28의 본문에 의지하며, SBLGNT와 NTOG는 독립적이 다. 따라서 특정 본문 유형을 위해서는 NA27/28와 NTOG를 참조하면 된다. 넷 째, 비평 각주와 관련하여, NA28, UBS5, SBLGNT는 비중 있는 비평 각주를 포함하고 있고, RGNT3과 NTOG는 단지 본문과 NA/UBS판과의 차이만을 제 시하는 간단한 비평 각주를 제공한다. 따라서 이문들에 대한 심도 있는 연구 를 위해서는 NA28, UBS5, SBLGNT을 사용하는 것이 유용하다. 마지막으로 본문들의 상호 관계에 있어서, NA28(=UBS5)의 야고보서 총 108구절 중 SBLGNT는 18구절, RGNT3는 6구절이 차이나는 반면, NTOG는 75구절이 차 이가 나는 것을 통해 볼 때, NA28(=UBS5)와 다른 본문 계열을 사용한 NTOG 를제외하고비평본들간의차이가크지않은것으로판단할할수있다. 위 의 사항들을 고려해 각각의 비평본들을 사용한다면 신약 성경 연구를 보다 효과적으로 진행할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Abstract

In the situation that the critical edition of Nestle-Aland has an important position in Korean scholarship of New Testament(NT), this article tries to give some answers to questions that are caused by the emergence of various critical editions of NT. For this I will survey each general information and edition-form, and explain the features and utility of each edition through the comparison of texts of the Letter of James. The outcomes of research are as follows: Firstly, in terms of the feature of reconstructed texts, NA28, UBS5 and RGNT3 provide eclectic texts, NTGO a diplomatic one and SBLGNT a quasi-diplomatic one. Thus, for textual study and exegetical work, NA28, UBS5 and RGNT3 are recommended, and NTOG and SBLGNT may be optionally selected. Secondly, in terms of editing method, NA28, UBS5, RGNT3 and NTOG adopted general methods of textual criticism, but SBLGNT reconstructed its text through the comparison of previously published editions of Greek NT. Thus, for the study on original sources of reconstruction, NA28, UBS5, RGNT3 and NTOG are unescapable, but SBLGNT is suitable for the study on critical edition(s). Thirdly, in terms of the text-type(s), NA28, UBS5, SBLGNT and RGNT3 are based on the Alexandrian text-type, but NTOG on the Byzantine one. In addition, UBS5 and RGNT3 depend on NA27/28, but SBLGNT and NTOG are independent from the viewpoint of reciprocal dependence of texts. Thus, for the research of specific text-type, NA27/28 and NTOG are recommendable. Fourthly, in terms of critical apparatus, those of NA28, UBS5 and SBLGNT are more professional, but RGNT3 and NTOG provide simplified ones. Thus, for the serious textual study of Greek New Testament, NA28, UBS5 and SBLGNT are useful. Finally, in terms of the agreements and differences among their texts, the text of the Letter of James of NA28(= UBS5) disagree with SBLGNT in 18 verses, with RGNT3 in 6 ones, but with NTOG in 75 ones, among total 108 verses. Thus, we can know that texts of other editions except NTOG highly agree one another. Considering all above-mentioned the research on New Testament will more effectively proceed.
